i had the pleasure over the weekend of doing 2 sisters portraits. they are in town visiting from Michigan and mom wanted to have some pics of her girls in durango. it was a really blustery day but the girls did great, well used to the cold and all. total natural posers! it was great fun as mom joined in too! sooo here is a sneak peek into their session...aren't they gorgeous!

Walt Disney studios shoot

ok, pinch me, this is very exciting! A friend of mine who works for Pixel Magic in LA recommended me to shoot Colorado Rocky mountain landscape stills for a few mock ups to be used in an upcoming movie, to be released in November. More details later, i think its all in the hush hush stage at the moment. Hopefully, they will get accepted, stay tuned...And, here are a few presented! What an opportunity!

just completed a neighboring kiddos shoot and we were actually able to get outside for a few with the mild weather over the weekend. cheers to the parents and kids who were so very cooperative. it was a joy!

I am being published in Sierra Club Magazine!!!!!

well, my photo is;<) I am soooo excited. I was a part of Durango Carrotmob (durango.carrotmob.org) this past fall and one of my images was chosen for an article being written in Sierra Club Magazine. It was such a great experience being involved with an awesome group of grass roots locals here in Durango and to get such recognition...AMAZING!!! I am corresponding with the folks at Sierra Club Mag and requested that Durango Carrotmob please be mentioned and they said YES it will be in the copy. AWESOME! GO DURANGO CARROTMOB!

HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR

what a purrrrfect time to start a new blog and even better, an intro picture welcoming a beautiful new baby to our world. and, what a small world it is! I took this lovely mommy's maternity photos and found out during our interview session that she is a home girl, meaning from my hometown New Orleans. Sooo, after beautiful baby boy Max bounced in (i was blessed to do his portrait too), we designed an oh so special announcement for him including fleur de lis (native to New Orleans) and all! check it out!
